Penrith launch Bee Netball
Penrith Netball Club is proud to have been selected as a Bee Netball trailblazer club, one of only two in the county, and only 127 nationwide. From Monday 3rd October, we will be starting a new 10-week Bee Netball programme, bringing netball to boys and girls from Years 1 to 4, and providing a great introduction for newcomers to the sport. Bee Netball is unique in its delivery, and goes beyond what happens on court. It revolves around its core Beeliefs and puts each child’s development first, enabling them to learn new skills that they can take into their daily lives and other activities. Our specially-trained coaches, Rachel Vepers & Caroline Tyson, will be bringing these sessions to our groups each week, in a friendly and high-energy environment. Members of the Bee Netball Buzzers and Fliers groups will not only benefit from these weekly activities but also receive a load of extras from England Netball too – including a personalised t-shirt, their own Bee Netball, and a Bee Netball book to track their achievements. The 10-week programme culminates in a fun mini-tournament session and costs £85 per child. This should be paid directly to England Netball via their ENgage system, but questions and queries directly to the Club are welcomed.
