The Club is formed of four Junior sections and one Senior section, providing opportunities for over 155 netballers from five years old and up. We’re thrilled to have such a fantastic membership, stuffed to the brim with netball lovers!
Penrith Netball Club is a well-established, volunteer-run club, and a mainstay in the county’s sporting landscape since 2002. As we hurtle towards our 25th anniversary, we look forward to our future developments, and, of course, plenty more great netball!
Penrith Netball Club is open to ALL players across all sections: women + girls, and men + boys. There are not many places to play mixed netball in Cumbria so we’re very proud to be able to offer this opportunity to our county’s netballers.
The Club is run entirely by volunteers, headed up by the Committee. Each of our Committee members give several hours of their time each week to ensure the success of the Club continues year-on-year. The current committee are:
Fundraising is absolutely vital to our operations as a grassroots community sports club. We have a number of projects that we’d like to undertake but some of these are not possible without additional support. The social side of netball is equally important, and to help us manage this side of the club, we have a dedicated Fundraising & Social Committee.
