Penrith Netball Thanks New Sponsors at Kit Reveal
Penrith Netball Club was thrilled to welcome its five new sponsors at their kit reveal last week. The kind support of Fit2Work Ltd Occupational Health (main sponsor), Alba Travel, Willan Living, Vets4Pets Penrith, and Penrith Building Society has been a great boost to the Club as they head towards their 20th-anniversary celebrations in May. As a community-focused club, they are fortunate to have the sponsorship from five businesses, based in and around Penrith, that share similar cultures and values to themselves when it comes to community spirit and the promotion of mental wellbeing. Penrith Netball Club would like to extend a huge thank you to each of their five wonderful sponsors and look forward to seeing them again at their upcoming anniversary celebrations. The backing that each of these sponsors provided has subsidised the Club’s new training wear, and also allowed the Club to buy a stash of new match-play dresses for their league games. The new netball dresses have had two outings for the Seniors team since arriving, most recently against a tough Harraby side in Division II of the Carlisle Netball League. Thankfully, Penrith came away from this Round Nine match with a 24-20 win after a hard-fought 60 minutes. This win reinforces Penrith’s solid position in the division with only one more match to go before it closes. On a final note, Club Chairwoman, Caroline Tyson, would like to express her personal thanks to all sponsors and says “It’s great to have the backing of all five of these businesses, and reassuring to see that there is growing support for women’s sport in our area. It’s always on the rise and there’s still so much more to come from us in this season and in the future.”
